 Unfortunately, tax season is upon us, and with it comes the task of examining our property tax assessments.  This year, I will be hosting a free property tax workshop aimed at providing you with the valuable information you may need to successfully understand your assessments, and complete the appeals process if need be.
 
The "Property Tax Appeal Workshop" is free for all residents, requires no formal registration, and will be held from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Shelby Township Municipal Hall, located at 52700 Van *** Avenue, on Saturday, Feb. 26, in Shelby Township.
